Katrina suffers from a neuro-genetic disorder known as Angelman syndrome. She was 10 months old when she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy but when she regressed from walking to crawling at the age of 3 further testing led to the diagnosis of Angelman syndrome when she was 5.
