Victorian native, 16 year old Katrina was diagnosed with Type 1 Insulin Dependent Diabetes. Help Fill A Dream received first received a gift request from Katrina’s social worker who explained that Katrina desperately needed to have an insulin pump so that she could maintain good glycemic (blood sugar) control. The Board approved the gift and Help Fill A Dream was able to purchase and deliver the insulin pump to Katrina.
